The rates and programs shown on the pages of this site – CanadaLend.com – only apply to home equity loans being processed by CanadaLend. These examples are for informational purposes only; it does not count as an actual offer to make a loan or the approval of any loan terms.
Rates and programs shown are subject to change at any moment and not all applicants will be eligible.
Actual interest rates and loan terms cannot be determined until an application has been submitted online (through CanadaLend) or in writing with all the required documentation. Applicants must qualify under our underwriting requirements as well as satisfy the contingencies of loan approval, which includes verification of financial information.
Loan approval is subject to an appraisal, title review, and no change in financial condition. Some loans are also not available in all jurisdictions.

The term “Broker” does not mean a broker under the applicable legislation but does mean a person that is fully licensed under the applicable legislation that works for CanadaLend.
They are trained and licensed mortgage representatives who arrange and negotiate mortgages on behalf of both the borrower and the lender. CanadaLend’s representatives are all licensed according to the provincial requirements of the Mortgage Brokers Act (Ontario).
The terms “Broker” and “Mortgage Representative” are used in a generic sense and can be used interchangeably.
